ADJUTANTS GENERAL ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES
🡦 Committed to Community, State, and Nation.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF AGAUS
On behalf of the fifty-four Adjutants General of the sovereign states, territories, and the District of Columbia, welcome to the Adjutants General Association of the United States (AGAUS) website. The AGAUS represents the senior leadership of the Army and Air National Guard of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, and Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
The National Guard has provided this country's Homeland Defense for over 380 years; we have been a part of every war the nation has fought, and we are always at the forefront during state emergencies and disasters. We are dedicated to continuing this great tradition by emphasizing the "Citizen Soldier" and the duties and responsibilities of caring for our state and nation. Again, welcome to our site and the Adjutants General Association.
